Visiting Friends/Family: Angela

Even though I'm currently living in Southern California, I'm still forever inspired by the Chesapeake Bay. Being 3000+ miles away from home has it's ups and downs, both equally weighted. A best friend from home came to visit me and I was beyond excited for her to experience the SoCal life.

Here are some photos from the weekend.

First Stop: Lemonade in Beverly Hills.
It was fantastic...but kind of overwhelming too. I didn't know what to order so when in doubt, order a yummy sandwich! I got the holiday turkey sandwich and it was amazing. Picking out what kind of lemonade I wanted was a challenge too...until I spotted the Blood Orange, such a winner.

My friend didn't come empty handed. She arrived with Balitmore beer, Natty Boh! It's a Maryland classic and it brings me back to summers on the Magothy River.

"Oh Boy, what a beer!"

Surprise! We met up with a friend from high school that we(I) hadn't seen in a year! He is currently working in LA for the summer(hopefully). It's so nice having a friend from home close by...even if it's just for a short period of time.

I apparently have ZERO photos from when we went to Disneyland, the following day. So I'm going to start again with our adventure to Burbank!

She experienced her first In-n-out burger(animal style of course!) and chocolate shake!

We went on the WB VIP studio tour in Burbank. BEST TOUR EVER!!!

I'm kind of a huge fan of Pretty Little Liars so seeing Rosewood High School was pretty amazing and  made me extremely giddy.

Since Harry Potter is a WB produced movie, the studios had an enormous amount of props.

Daisy's dress from Great Gatsby!

Any Friends fans out there?!

Well....we got to go on the Central Perk set! Super AMAZING!

After the tour we met up with our friend again in Santa Monica.

Our last day was dedicated to the beach. We decided on Huntington Beach because it's the Surf Capitol of the World after all. We got super burned by the sun...and when I mean "we" I mean me. I'm still suffering from it, even though it was totally worth it!

It was SO great having a friend from home visit me. I wish that I could have friends or family from home come every weekend because after she left I got incredibly home sick. So friends if you're reading this....COME VISIT!
