Reading List: Gone Girl

I had never heard of this book until my friend read it and started raving about it. I trust her when she says a book is a "must read" so of course I had to pick it up. After reading the first couple chapters, it's kind of slow getting into but she assured me that it does pick up and get more interesting. Apparently it's going to be made into a movie so I must get it read before October, which shouldn't be a problem since I do my best reading on a plane and I will be traveling back to Maryland next week via plane.

Has anyone read this yet?!

Book: Harry Potter 4

After Fault in Our Stars, It was time to get back to the Harry Potter Series.

The Goblet of Fire was one of my favorite books, but least favorite movies. I don't know if it's because every time I went to watch Harry Potter weekends on ABC Family, it was the only one on or what.
These newly illustrated books are pretty fantastic with the color choices and the style of illustration, I'm seriously loving every bit of them!

How many times have you re-read the Harry Potter Series!?

Book: Fault in Our Stars

Currently reading this....

I'm only a few chapters into the book but oh my goodness, I'm hooked. Of course with all the excitement about the movie that just recently came to theaters, I have heard nothing but amazing things from it. I definitely plan on finishing the book first then a friend and I will be going to see the movie.

Have I mentioned that I will probably be needing a box of tissues and a gallon of Ben and Jerry's?

Has anyone else read or seen the movie?!

Movie: Something Borrowed

This movie is inspired and based off of the book by Emily Giffin, a fantastic author who has written a number of books categorized as "chick lits", which follows the book "Something Blue"...which I really hope that they create a movie off of someday because that book is just as wonderful!

It's a story of two best friends that grew up together, went to college together, until Rachel goes to Law School where she meets Dex who ends up getting engaged to Darcy(Rachel's Best Friend). After  Rachel's Birthday they confess their love to each other but have to keep it a secret because you know, he is already engaged to her best friend. In the end Darcy finds out and the engagement is broken off....

Incase you haven't seen it, I will leave some details out.

The cast is fantastic and the chemistry between all of them makes for some pretty fantastic acting.

Ginnifer Goodwin....Rachel
Kate Hudson.............Darcy
Colin Egglesfield.........Dex
John Krasinski..........Ethan

Have any of you watched the movies or better yet, read the book(s)?! If you haven't, I highly suggest you do!
